The Anaesthetists

At Corymbia House all our regular and visiting anaesthetists must be fully registered with both the Medical Practitioners Board of Victoria and the Australian and New Zealand College of Anaesthetists (ANZCA).

This means that you will be treated by a fully trained medical specialist who has successfully completed the 5 year post-medical anaesthesia training program governed by ANZCA.

Proof of participation in the “Continuing Professional Development” program is mandatory for ANZCA registration. On a regular basis specialists must show evidence that they are  keeping up to date with latest developments as well as refreshing important core knowledge. This ensures the highest standards are maintained and continues to make Australia one of the safest countries in the world in which to have an anaesthetic.
